Palafrugell cuisine is very rich and varied. Both traditional dishes and the most avant-garde dishes are present on the restaurant menus and are prepared with top quality products.
A wide range of traditional, classic or modern cuisine restaurants vouch for the quality of the gastronomy, offering seasonal or Km 0 products, which have achieved a reputation for Empordà cuisine at an international level. Both in Palafrugell and in the coastal towns of Calella, Llafranc, Tamariu or the inland town of Llofriu, we will find a great variety of restaurants offering all kinds of varied and traditional cuisine.

Saturdays September 19 and 26 and October 3, 2026.
As a prelude to the Costa Brava Jazz Festival, live concerts are offered during the last two weekends of September and the first weekend of October at different establishments in the municipality, allowing you to enjoy them while having a vermouth, a drink, a cocktail or dinner.
Participating establishments Off Festival 2026: Cal Ganxó, Daltònic and Pati de L’Estrella in Palafrugell and Hotel Tamariu in Tamariu.
Under the common theme of jazz, you will be able to relax and listen to the different styles within this genre, while giving musicians’ groups the opportunity to perform. These groups have a good musical level but are not part of the circuit of major groups. Both local groups and groups from other parts of the country will take part. A great opportunity to discover the world of jazz.

Last September I spent a few days touring around what local people have named ‘The Small Costa Brava’(La Petita Costa Brava) which takes in the picturesque seaside towns of Calella De Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu.
