Au centre, vous trouverez la chapelle de Sant Ramon et, juste devant, Can Fina, avec sa tour de guet du XVI<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle. Avec leurs petites maisons encercl\u00e9es de murs de cl\u00f4tures et de sentiers, ces mas sont ins\u00e9parables et d\u00e9limitent la voie publique.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Plusieurs documents prouvent l\u2019existence de mas dans cette commune depuis le XII<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sur la plaine de Palafrugell et Mont-ras, on conserve encore un grand nombre de tours construites pour la communication et la protection des familles qui s\u2019y \u00e9taient install\u00e9es. Les plus proches d\u2019Ermed\u00e0s sont les tours du Mas Petit d\u2019en Caixa et du Mas Borrull. Il s\u2019agissait de structures isol\u00e9es et autoprot\u00e9g\u00e9es contre lesquelles se sont adoss\u00e9 des mas qu\u2019on utilisait comme terrains agricoles \u00e0 partir du XVIII<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle.
