Cependant, aucun chemin ne reliait les deux extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s de la baie.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ce probl\u00e8me a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9solu \u00e0 la fin du XIX<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle\u00a0: on a sur\u00e9lev\u00e9 les espaces des renfoncements pour uniformiser le bord de mer et construit un pont sur le cours d\u2019eau. Ce chemin, con\u00e7u et r\u00e9nov\u00e9 plus tard par Joan Pericot i Garcia (1907-1987) est ce qu\u2019on appelle aujourd\u2019hui \u201cla Promenade del Canadell\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La plage et ses renfoncements, certains ind\u00e9pendants, d\u2019autres reli\u00e9s aux maisons de la promenade, \u00e9taient le lieu de r\u00e9cr\u00e9ation des familles de Palafrugell.
