{"id":208703,"date":"2024-09-20T13:51:42","date_gmt":"2024-09-20T13:51:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/visitpalafrugell.ergatesweb13.ovh\/esglesia-de-sant-pere\/"},"modified":"2026-06-02T16:04:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T16:04:09","slug":"esglesia-de-sant-pere","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/visitpalafrugell.ergatesweb13.ovh\/fr\/esglesia-de-sant-pere\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00c9GLISE DE SANT PERE DE CALELLA"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>\u00c9GLISE DE SANT PERE DE CALELLA<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les travaux de construction de l\u2019\u00e9glise ont d\u00e9but\u00e9 en 1854, l\u2019ann\u00e9e durant laquelle Moss\u00e8n Collboni, recteur de Palafrugell, a envoy\u00e9 un rapport au Dioc\u00e8se de G\u00e9rone pour souligner qu\u2019il serait dans leur int\u00e9r\u00eat d\u2019\u00e9riger une nouvelle paroisse \u00e0 Calella.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re pierre fut pos\u00e9e en en 1885 et recouverte en 1886. Un an plus tard, on construisit la coupole, le presbyt\u00e8re et le clocher. Le 19 octobre 1987, l\u2019\u00e9v\u00eaque b\u00e9nit la premi\u00e8re cloche, baptis\u00e9e Teresa de Jes\u00fas, et le pr\u00eatre b\u00e9nit l\u2019\u00e9glise.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les travaux n\u2019ont pas pu \u00eatre termin\u00e9s par faute de financement, mais elle \u00e9tait tout de m\u00eame utilis\u00e9e comme lieu de culte. La solution, c\u2019est la philanthrope Dorotea de Chopitea (1816-1891), Chilienne veuve de Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Serra (fils de Mariano Serra i Soler, originaire de Palafrugell et qui a fait fortune \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger), qui l\u2019a apport\u00e9e. En 1989, l\u2019\u00e9glise fut r\u00e9nov\u00e9e et on construisit \u00e9galement le rectorat.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les travaux de r\u00e9novation et le carrelage de la place ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s entre 1958 et 1968, sous la direction de Joan Pericot i Garcia (1907-1987), \u00e0 qui l\u2019on doit son aspect actuel, car c\u2019est lui qui a restaur\u00e9 l\u2019horloge et achev\u00e9 le clocher.
