Il se trouvait autrefois \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de la muraille, puis il a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9install\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de la gare du petit train pour finir, en 1907, dans la banlieue. C\u2019est l\u2019architecte Isidro Bosch i Bataller (1875-1960) qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 charg\u00e9 de ce projet, inaugur\u00e9 en 1911.<\/p>\n<p>Moyennant un style \u00e9clectique associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments modernistes, le mat\u00e9riel de construction du b\u00e2timent stimule au maximum ses ressources expressives. En l\u2019occurrence, l\u2019architecte a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de jouer sur le contraste de couleurs entre la brique et la pierre de taille qui encadre les ouvertures des arcs surbaiss\u00e9s.
