C\u2019\u00e9tait le foyer des \u00e9poux Josep Bech de Careda Olivas et Rosa Plana Avell\u00ed. La famille Bech de Careda, originaire d\u2019Agullana, entretenait une \u00e9troite relation avec la ville de Palafrugell, notamment pour les bouchons de li\u00e8ge qu\u2019elle vendait aux commerces locaux.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sur cette grande maison noucentiste, nous pouvons appr\u00e9cier les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de d\u00e9coration d\u2019inspiration classique, tels que les colonnes, les chapiteaux, les guirlandes ou les balustrades. La propri\u00e9t\u00e9 incluait \u00e9galement une maison pour le gardien et une large zone de patios et de jardins qui s\u2019\u00e9tendaient de la rue Cervantes \u00e0 la rue Ample.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dans le but de d\u00e9bloquer le centre de la ville, tr\u00e8s satur\u00e9, la mairie a rachet\u00e9 cette propri\u00e9t\u00e9 en 1963 pour y installer ses bureaux l\u2019ann\u00e9e suivante. Afin de d\u00e9gager totalement le secteur, l\u2019avenue de Josep Pla a \u00e9t\u00e9 ouverte, un parking public a \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9nag\u00e9, et l\u2019ancien jardin est devenu un parc.
