Palafrugell est\u00e1 situado en el coraz\u00f3n de la Costa Brava, en un entorno privilegiado. Con una poblaci\u00f3n censada de unos 23.000 habitantes, es el municipio m\u00e1s poblado de la comarca. La villa de Palafrugell es el centro del municipio, que comparte con los n\u00facleos rurales de Santa Margarida, Ermed\u00e0s y Llofriu, al pie de Les Gavarres, junto con los n\u00facleos costeros de Calella, Llafranc, Tamariu y Aigua Xelida. As\u00ed que esta villa tradicionalmente corchera, que hoy vive principalmente del turismo, est\u00e1\u00a0estrat\u00e9gicamente\u00a0situada entre el mar y la monta\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

En la zona del centro de Palafrugell se concentra la actividad cultural y comercial. Accesible s\u00f3lo para los peatones, alrededor de la iglesia, a pocos minutos de distancia y de la antigua muralla podr\u00e9is pasear tranquilamente y recorrer tiendas, bares, restaurantes, museos y fundaciones.<\/p>\n
