Situado en la parte norte-occidental de Palafrugell, al pie de Les Gavarres, y con una poblaci\u00f3n de unos 270 habitantes, est\u00e1 formado por n\u00facleos de casas y rodeado de una amplia zona agr\u00edcola y ganadera. En el casco antiguo destacan la iglesia y las antiguas escuelas, hoy d\u00eda Centro Cultural y Social Bassa-Rocas. Tambi\u00e9n encontramos el mas Pla, casa solariega de Josep Pla, y en el cementerio su tumba.<\/p>\n<p>Ermed\u00e0s, situado al sur de Palafrugell, es un peque\u00f1o n\u00facleo urbano de menos de 50 habitantes donde encontramos, entre bosques y campos, torres de defensa, casas de pay\u00e9s, granjas y una ermita.
