En el extremo de mediod\u00eda, se encuentra la capilla de Sant Ramon y, justo delante, Can Fina, con una torre de vigilancia del siglo XVI. Las mas\u00edas que con sus dependencias y espacios cercados con muros de cierre crean la calle o tramo de camino forman una unidad inseparable.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En este t\u00e9rmino municipal ya hay documentadas mas\u00edas desde el siglo XII.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En la llanura de Palafrugell y Mont-ras se conservan muchas torres construidas para la comunicaci\u00f3n y la protecci\u00f3n de las familias que viv\u00edan en la llanura. Las m\u00e1s cercanas a Ermed\u00e0s son la del Mas Petit d\u2019en Caixa y la del Mas Borrull. Las torres eran edificios aislados y autoprotegidos a los que, normalmente a partir del siglo XVIII, se adosaron mas\u00edas y se aprovecharon como espacios de uso agr\u00edcola.
