Sin embargo, no exist\u00eda ning\u00fan camino que facilitase la comunicaci\u00f3n entre los dos extremos de la bah\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El problema se resolvi\u00f3 a finales del siglo XIX, cuando se elevaron los s\u00f3tanos que faltaban por llegar al margen, y se construy\u00f3 un puente sobre la riera. Este paso, dise\u00f1ado y remodelado posteriormente por Joan Pericot i Garcia (1907-1987), es el que hoy conocemos como Paseo del Canadell.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La playa y los s\u00f3tanos, algunos de ellos independientes y otros conectados con los chalets del paseo, eran el lugar de recreo de familias de Palafrugell.
