{"id":208701,"date":"2024-09-20T13:48:03","date_gmt":"2024-09-20T13:48:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/visitpalafrugell.ergatesweb13.ovh\/les-voltes-i-el-port-bo\/"},"modified":"2025-07-03T11:21:43","modified_gmt":"2025-07-03T11:21:43","slug":"les-voltes-i-el-port-bo","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/visitpalafrugell.ergatesweb13.ovh\/es\/les-voltes-i-el-port-bo\/","title":{"rendered":"LAS VOLTES Y EL PORT BO"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>LAS VOLTES Y EL PORT BO<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El Port Bo queda separado de su vecino, el puerto de Malaespina, por un largo brazo de rocas llamado Roques d\u2019en Pells, que se adentra progresivamente en el mar con Es C\u00f2dol, su roca m\u00e1s voluminosa, al frente.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta principios del siglo XX, tuvo funciones de puerto de cabotaje. Actuaba como puerto natural de la villa de Palafrugell y contaba con una aduana. Daba salida a los productos locales (coral, trigo, vino, salazones o corcho).<\/p>\n<p>En la plaza tambi\u00e9n varaban las barcas de pesca que, cuando se hicieron demasiado grandes, tuvieron que trasladarse al puerto de Palam\u00f3s.<\/p>\n<p>La plaza del Port Bo es el centro neur\u00e1lgico de Calella y donde se celebra, desde hace m\u00e1s de cincuenta a\u00f1os, la Cantada de Habaneras. En la parte de poniente se conservan las <em>voltes<\/em> (o b\u00f3vedas) antiguas, un espacio cubierto que formaba parte de las viviendas de los pescadores, en primera l\u00ednea de mar. Se utilizaban para la subasta del pescado, para coser las redes y como zona de vigilancia o de tertulia de los pescadores.<\/p>\n<p>En la parte de levante se conserva un segundo tramo de <em>voltes<\/em>, estas modernas, ideadas por Nicolas Woevodsky (1888-1975), para dar una imagen tradicional a la plaza.
